It’s been a long week, so it’s time to sit back and unwind with Game Rant Arcade. This time around, Cameron and Anthony are here to discuss the PlayStation Housemarque acquisition, Todd Howard’sdisappointingElder Scrolls 6update, and the surprisingly wickedScarlet Nexus.

Kicking things off,PlayStation acquired Housemarque, the developer behindReturnal. It’s a bit of a strange move considering Housemarque’s pedigree, but the developer is certainly worthy, as it’s pumped out high-quality games for a while now. The move comes alongside a number of notable Microsoft studio acquisitions, though PlayStation did state that it isn’t trying to get locked into an arms race with Microsoft.

In other PlayStation news,Ghost of Tsushimais getting a Director’s Cut, along with a new expansion set on Iki island, which is near the real-world Tsushima island the main game is set in. Few details have been revealed thus far, but it does lend some credence to a possible PlayStation State of Play rumored for July. The Director’s Cut hadn’t been announced when the episode was recorded, though, so hang out and listen to Cameron and Anthony speculate.

Silent Hillmay finally be happening too, or at the very least, all of the puzzle pieces are in place.
