It’s been quite the week, with a number of rumored shakeups ready to rock the video game industry. Of course, that gives Cameron and Anthony plenty to discuss in Game Rant Arcade Episode 14, which tackles the rumored shutdown of the PS3, PSP, and PS Vita Stores, plus, Anthony’s early thoughts onIt Takes Two,and a whole lot more.
Kicking things off, aGhost of Tsushimamovieis now in the works, which might just be the most adaptable property Sony currently has on offer. WithThe Last of UsandUnchartedprojects also in the works, it seems that fans are starting to get a payoff from PlayStation Productions, which is being backed by Sony’s movie division.

Rumor has it that thePS3, PS Vita, and PSP stores will be shut down, and while nothing has been confirmed yet, it has raised some alarms for fans of the consoles. It seems unlikely that Sony doesn’t have a plan to address those concerns, but it’ll be some time before fans find out. That wasn’t the only move that the company this week, though, as Sony also bought EVO.
In Microsoft news,Xbox Live is being rebranded to Xbox network. This could have serious implications for the future, especially considering how synonymous Xbox Live is with the Xbox brand. However, Microsoft is also reportedly in talks to buy Discord for $10 billion. It would be a huge deal, even rivaling the Bethesda acquisition.
