Several months ago, one surprisedForza Horizon 4pre-orderer received an early download of the game, and then went on to share some pre-release information about the upcoming open world game by detailingits entire car list. While this might have spoiled the surprise for some, it likely won’t stop many racing game enthusiasts from trying out the title’s demo, which is officially available now.
According to the Microsoft Store page forForza Horizon 4, the demo will weigh in at a somewhat heavy 27.83 GB, so those looking to try out the trial for the racing title might need to clear out some space before giving it a go. The demo can be played through the forthcoming game’s two supported platforms–Windows PC and Xbox One–and it will take players on a tour of historic Britain and offer a “healthy heaping of open-world gameplay”, with another feature being dynamically changing seasons of weather.
Should theForza Horizon 4demo not be enough to sate one’s hunger for road burning rubber before the game’s official release, it’s worth noting that those who pre-order the Ultimate Edition of the title will get early access ahead of its October launch. As it so happens, fans who pre-order the Ultimate Edition will receive four full days with the title ahead of the rest of the player base who do not.
All things considered, it will be interesting to see howForza Horizon’s fan base will collectively react to the demo and if it will incentivize them into securing a copy of the title when it goes live next month. The racing sequel should be a popular purchase with car fanatics, especially with the developers including such fun crossover vehicles as the Best of Bond Car Pack andHalo’s Warthog.
Forza Horizon 4is scheduled to release on August 15, 2025 for PC and Xbox One.
