It won’t be too much longer beforeFortniteSeason 7is finally here, and it looks as if Epic Games is set to get into the winter spirit by giving the title’s free-to-play Battle Royale portion an icy, snow-strewn makeover. Just ahead of the next content cycle’s release, though, a handful of fresh skins that will be available for the new season have surfaced online before their official unveiling, with the leak revealing the likes of Ninja Cat, Steampunk Santa, and more.
As seen in the tweet below,FortniteSeason 7 will not only be featuring Ninja Cat and Steampunk Santa, but also there will be a skin representing the evil-looking ice wizard of which Epic is using as the main promotional face for the upcoming season. With the primary promo art for the sixth season having prominently featured all seven skins in its Battle Pass, it stands to reason that these three aforementioned skins will be a part of Season 7’s Battle Pass cosmetics as well.
Those who look a little bit closer at the image above will be able to get a tiny glimpse at the figure standing next to Steampunk Santa, with manyFortnitefans theorizing that this character in particular will be the Onesie skin. The googly-eye, along with the French fry and burger pattern on the garb indicates that it will likely act as an homage toDurr Burger, which is the fictional fast-food chain restaurant in the game’s world.
Taking everything from this leak into consideration, it’s a safe bet to make that Epic Games will also continue to release loads more skins well into the launch ofFortniteSeason 7 to supplement the aforementioned costumes. After all, the multiplayer sandbox survival shooter’s cosmetics shop has helped the developer generatemore than $1 billion in microtransaction revenueso far, and it wouldn’t be a prudent business move on Epic’s part to slow down that content train just yet.
