Square Enix kicked off its E3 2019 presentation with a deep dive intoFinal Fantasy 7 Remake, showing off the game’s combat system, thefirst boss fight against the Guard Scorpion, and our first good looks at Tifa and Sephiroth. After the presentation wrapped, Square Enix detailed the voice cast forFinal Fantasy 7 Remake, revealing that protagonist Cloud Strife has been recast, along with all of the other characters.

Steve Burton has been voicing Cloud Strife since 2002’sKingdom Hearts, but after portraying the character for 17 years, he has been recast. In theFinal Fantasy 7 Remake, Cloud is played by Cody Christian, a 24 year old actor best known for his role on MTV’sTeen Wolfreboot series.
