Final Fantasyis an RPG franchise well-known for its vast array of unique classes and jobs, andFinal Fantasy 14, the series' second foray into the MMORPG genre, is no exception. Featuring19 different jobsat the time of writing, and further increasing with each new expansion release,Final Fantasy 14is fast on track to havethe most jobs in any Final Fantasy game.

Fans of the MMORPG genre are likely comfortable with the idea of creating alt characters to experience different classes, butFinal Fantasy 14departs from this tradition by allowing players to swap between jobs on the fly, meaning all jobs can be leveled on a single character. While some of these jobs will be available as soon as playersunlock the ability to change classes, others will need to be unlocked through high-level side quests throughout the game.
