The world of esports is competative, endurance testing, and attainable only to the best players, from theAGDQ players raising money for charitywhile speed running classic games, to the well trained esports teams competing against other top gamers. Indeed, having a certain level of skill seems like an obvious qualifier for getting in on an esports competition, but that’s not always the case, especially when celebrities and charities get involved, like Jason Sudeikis' Ted Lasso and Trevor Noah joiningFIFA 21tournament “FIFA Face-Off.”
The tournament is being hosted by Twitch streamer Castro 1021, a player who regularly streamsFIFA 21content, and will include celebrities like Brendan Hunt, Becky G, and Nicky Jam in addition to Sudeikis and Noah. While it appears other guests are playing in the tournament as themselves, Jason Sudeikis is competing as his character Ted Lasso from the AppleTV + show of the same name.
