The official site provides an update about the release of the game, which is set for October 9 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

The official website also gives insight into how the game works alongsidethe next generation of consoles. Players who purchaseFIFA 21on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox Series X will be able to transfer the game to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X free of charge.
There have been claims that theXbox Series X would be backward compatibleand allow players to play all old titles. The result of this claim has been a great deal of speculation about how publishers would conduct business, and players will be glad that Electronic Arts has provided clarity on how the publisher is operating and going forward.
