2019 is finally here, and while most people are busy plotting out their new year’s resolutions, Bethesda is starting the year with an announcement of an upcoming update inFallout 76.Bethesda did not specify a release date for the update but revealed in its latest “Inside the Vault” blog post that, just like its December 11 patch, the company is planning to introduce a multitude of new features in the game together with the usual debugging and improvements within the game.

For those who still haven’t playedFallout 76, or hasn’t been able to log in for a while, theDecember 11 update introduced significant changes in the gamethat include C.A.M.P. construction and placement improvements, Push-to-Talk hotkey for voice chat, and 21:9 Resolution support on the PC.

It is no secret thatFallout 76’slaunch was rough andBethesda promptly issued an apologysaying that it will “work to make a better bridge” between fans and the dev team to ensure that the concerns of players reach the right people. The latest fix resolved common issues including the increase of stash limits for players, power armor suit problems, respawn problems, and many others.

Despite the initial criticism,Fallout 76still made the list of the best selling games of November 2018 according to NPD. AlthoughFallout 76did not top the list, the game was able to get fourth place behindRed Dead Redemption 2,Black Ops 4, andBattlefield V.

Even thoughFallout 76made the top tier of the best selling games for November 2018, it is worth noting that the game has sold less than its predecessors,Fallout 4andNew Vegas. Additionally,Fallout 76topped our list of the10 most disappointing games of 2018alongside titles such asSea of ThievesandMetal Gear Survive.
