Fastest Way to Grind Empire Rank

To farm Empire rank inElite Dangerousquickly and reliably, take courier missions between the Ngalinn, Aitval, and Mainani systems. The stations there only have landing pads for medium or small ships. The ship must also have a 20.25ly Jump Range. Consider using an Automatic Docking Computer and Supercruise Assist Module too. This well-known farming technique is repetitive, butEliteisn’t known for being one ofthe longest PC games to beatfor nothing.

This method is the most efficient, reliable method for grinding rank with the Empire. Thankfully, the missions in this loop are much more abundant than in the similar grind for Federal rank. Only a few hours of this are required to attain “Rear Admiral,” at which point the final unlockable from the Empire becomes available: the Imperial Cutter. The Cutter is an incredibly capable and versatile ship. One place it really shines is in beingthe best trade shipin the game.
