It won’t be long now before gamers are taking on some of their favoriteDragon Ballcharacters in a brand new 2.5D fight title. The game in question,Dragon Ball FighterZ, is set to arrive in February 2018, and publisher Bandai Namco has begun ramping up its release of roster updates for the project in order to start building excitement. Fans previously saw confirmation that heroesYamcha and Tien will joinFighterZ, but now a couple of baddies have been confirmed to, presumably, tilt the scales a little bit.
None other than Nappa and Captain Ginyu will be joining the fray according to Japanese gaming and manga magazine V-Jump. Scans from the magazine show the villainous fighters utilizing their trademark techniques from the source material in which they originate, and much like previous characters, their inclusion looks to be implemented into the game in a rather painstakingly accurate manner.

With developer Arc System Works taking some creative liberties with an entirely new narrative for the game, it’s clear that the studio is working hard to provide fight aficionados with the experience they’re craving.
