Dr. Disrespect, the notorious streamer prone to controversy, has thrown shade at Summit1G, another big-name streamer. Dr. Disrespect, who has regularly made headlines for makingcontroversial statements, took several jabs at Summit during a recent live stream while playingEscape From Tarkov.
Summit had overslept for anEscape From Tarkovtournament that both streamers were taking part in, leading to a fan in Dr. Disrespect’s chat stating that “Summit needs to get up.” After reading the comment, Dr. Disrespect stated that Summit “has no chance” in the tournament. Dr. Disrespect went on to say, “[Summit]’s not built for tournaments. He’s built for slow pace, casual gameplay with commentary.”

It is possible that Dr. Disrespect was joking, and that he’s just giving Summit a hard time. After all, his name is literally Dr. Disrespect, and the streamer, whose real name is Guy Beahm, is more of a character than a real person most of the time– withDr. Disrespect even getting an origin book soon. Still, they’re pretty harsh words directed towards Summit, and the two have had their share of rivalry in the past.
Other live streamer drama has been popping up quite a bit as of late. Just recently, streamersTfue and Ninjafound themselves embroiled in their own drama, with Tfue asking to fight Ninja in one of his YouTube videos. Whether the drama, between both parties, is manufactured or legitimate is pretty up in the air, though it is interesting to see it unfold online.
Who knows, maybe Dr. Disrespect and Summit1G will have their own head-to-head in the wake of Disrespect’s comments. The two have faced each other online before, but seeing the two organize their own 1v1 in a variety of games would be pretty entertaining to watch– and prove once and for all if Dr. Disrespect can back up his words.
