Bandai Namco announced that an online event centered on theDigimonfranchise will stream on February 26. Dubbed “Digimon Con”, the event will stream worldwide on the company’s official YouTube channel starting at 8:00 p.m. EST.

The event is described as a “celebration of all thingsDigimon, presenting a wide range of content.” The upcoming event will be streamed in both English and Japanese, though the broadcast may vary between the two depending on the segment.

The stream will cover a wide variety of upcomingDigimoncontent. There will be a special segment focusing on theDigimonanime series,new information on an unnamedDigimongame, more information on the Digimon Vital Bracelet, the initial selection results for theDigimonIllustration Competition, and a live performance by long-timeDigimoncontributor Ayumi Miyazaki.

Though no specific information has been provided as to what game will be covered during the event, there’s a chance that fans might finally see more of the upcomingDigimon Survive. The anticipated title has been delayed a handful of times throughout its development, butnews of the game being rated by the ESRBpoint towards a release in the near future.

The segmentdedicated to the anime serieswill likely focus on the ongoingDigimon Ghost Gameanime. The series premiered on Fuji TV on October 3, and Crunchyroll is streaming it as it airs. A new anime film focusing on the cast ofDigimon Adventure 02is currently in the works.

TheDigimonIllustration Competition is set to take place from December 16 to February 6. The theme of the competition will becute or coolDigimonscenes. Contestants will enter their pieces for a chance to have them featured as card designs in theDigimon Card Game. Those who win the Grand Prize and Second Prize will have their artwork featured in the card game, with Bandai Namco possibly using the designs during future events.
