The Tempest is the newest class sinceDiablo Immortaladded the Blood Knightlast year, bringing back for fans one of the enemies seen in the firstDiablogame.

Diablo Immortal’s New Class is a Warrior with Elemental Powers

The Tempest is a warrior who wields dual blades and harnesses the elemental powers of water and wind to faceDiablo Immortal’s enemies. The second part of the trailer gives players a sneak peek at what the Tempest’s gameplay will be like by showing the new class using water abilities to move and unleash powerful attacks. According to a post on Blizzard’s official blog,Diablo Immortal’s new class is a “mysterious wanderer who has emerged from the frigid mists of the North to push back the darkness.” The post also promises a deep dive into the Tempest’s abilities and a short story from senior narrative designer Ryan Quinn.

The Tempest will arrive inDiablo Immortalas part of a free update that will add a new quest specifically for the class. Players who want to test out the Tempest’s powers will be able to do so by usingDiablo Immortal’s class change featureand converting one of their existing characters. As for what’s to come forDiablo Immortal, Blizzard revealed in March an exciting roadmap called “The Year of Unmaking,” which will eventually bring Diablo himself to fight players.
