This sequel game takes players on an adventure withDetective Pikachu and his human partnerto uncover mysteries in a place called Ryme City. It will be up to the player to talk to different Pokemon throughout this journey and also use the different abilities that each one has to find different clues to unfold the mystery. Detective Pikachu Returnsis expected to release on October 6th, 2023, and will be available for purchase on the Nintendo eShop for$49.99. For those who want a physical copy, they are available forpre-order on various websitesthat offer video games. However, gamers that are wanting to play on day one would be better off purchasing a digital copy unless they don’t mind traveling to a local store that has the title.
On the official Nintendo website, the site has a disclaimer for all digital video game launches, regarding what time they will be released. It states, “Digital software that is also sold physically will usually be available at 9:00 p.m. PT the night before the physical game’s release date.”
