Although Bungie leftDestiny 2players with a cliff-hanger last week in theirquest to “save” Saint-14, this week finally brings some closure to that big promise. However, getting to the end goal of the “An Impossible Task” quest might prove harder than players expected.

One of the major hurdles in the Impossible Task quest is a step involving Saint-14’s Ghost. Near the end of the quest,Destiny 2players are sent to thedestination Nessusto find the Ghost, but arriving at its location is harder than most think.

What makes finding Saint-14’s Ghost so confusing is that the location on the map doesn’t make clear where exactly to go. It looks like the closest path to the Ghost location is through Artifact’s Edge, but highlighting the Marked Location says it’s in the Arcadian Valley. Then the actual Quest step says that Saint-14’s Ghost is located in the Pools of Luminance in the Cistern.

It’s confusing enough that manyDestiny 2players are having a difficult time locating Saint-14’s Ghost. But following the Quest step’s location clues is the key to getting to the Ghost.

Players want to load into the Cistern, travel forward until they reach a wall, and then take the alcove on the right. Follow these tight Vex hallways until loading into a new zone called Pools of Luminance. From here, follow the path until there is an open area with a Vex interactive tower on a raised platform.

Interacting with the tower will trigger a beam of light across the room and a portal will open. Enter the portal and there should be a dead body holding a Ghost in the air. Interact with the Ghost and the quest is complete. Saint-14’s Ghost has been successfully recovered.

Unfortunately, the path towards resurrecting Saint-14 or bringing him back into the world ofDestiny 2is on hold until next week, at the earliest. There seems to be a spot in the Tower for Saint-14 to become a new vendor, anddatamines of theDestiny 2filesshow that he will have new quests and bounties on offer.
