When Shadowkeep and the Season of the Undying launch in the coming months,Destiny 2will likely see a new burst of exotic weapons join the fray. One strangeDestiny 2Shadowkeep exotichas already been revealed, for example, and it’s powered by a crystallized bug. While the number of exotics that will be added in Shadowkeep is unknown, there’s a solid chance that a number of them will be from the originalDestiny.
It’s worth noting that twoDestiny 1exotic weapons, Truth and Bad Juju, were added toDestiny 2since the Season of Opulence began, and Outbreak Prime was released just before that. The constant addition of old exotics is something that Bungie has been criticized for from time to time, but it is also something that the fanbase can find joy in. This includes when fans were trolled with a fake Gjallarhorn in the Season of the Drifter.
So, prior to the launch of Shadowkeep, there are 35 exotics that have yet to appear inDestiny 2. It’s impossible to know which exotics are added with the launch of the expansion, but if there is some lore that suggests that it could, then we’ve taken note of it below.
