Taking the franchise back to its roots in World War 2 has proven to be the correct decision for both Activision and Sledgehammer Games as so far,Call of Duty: WW2has shown amassive sales improvement over its predecessor. With a number of content drops coming in the months ahead through the game’s season pass, a new leak has begun making the rounds revealing that Sledgehammer is working on new game modes and weapons for its popular multiplayer.

The details surrounding the potentially new content was originally captured by YouTuber IAMJarni, who posted a video showing off a variety of new and returning game modes toCall of Duty: WW2like Gun Game, Infected, Control, and more. Taking to Zombies mode, the video goes on to reveal a large quantity of yet to be released weapons including the Sten SMG, Gewehr 43, and Breda M1930. As expected, Activision Blizzard’s legal team has since had the video taken down, but quick thinking Reddit users like xXCrankXx93, XXXMrHOLLYWOOD, and IWPeasant managed to grab the footage and post it for others to see as well. Many fans have begun speculating that the new weapons could be apart of the Christmas Headquarters event and new wintersupply drop boxescoming next month as well.

While Activision has remained quiet regarding as to when these items will make it into the game, many believe thatthe delay is a result of the backlash EA has facedregarding the loot crates and microtransactions inStar Wars Battlefront 2. Call of Duty points, in-game currency players can use to purchase items from an in game store, were recently added to the game to let players purchase different rarity tiers of supply drops. Fans are still waiting to see if these leaked weapons are added for free, included within these new supply drops, or perhaps are going to be added for season pass owners.
