A playlist update forCall of Duty: Warzonehas made some changes to the available game modes that fans can access. An announcement from the official Infinity Ward Twitter informed fans that an update had been released across all platforms.

Warzonefans will be happy to see some game modes return as the developers continue to tweak and update the battle royale experience. As of the update, the developer is officially removing the Battle Royale 200 game mode and replacing it with some fan favorites from the past.

The update is mainly focused onWarzoneand has officiallyremoved the Battle Royale 200 game modefrom all platforms. Players will be happy to see the return of standard Battle Royale Quads added back to the submenu along with the Battle Royale Stimulus Trios mode returning back into the options. Although the update is removing the massive battle royale experience, it is easy to see that the game mode received mixed reviews from fans. Many consider the experiment to be a success while others say that 200 players were simply too much to deal with.

The return of Battle Royale Quads is a chance for players to bring theirBattle Royale 200 skillsback to a smaller match. Although the player count is lower, the team-based tactics and need for coordination continue to be vital to success. Fewer opponents can easily make matches end quicker, but it also heightens the chance of players being out skilled in unexpected scenarios.

Battle Royale Stimulus fanswill be happy to see the launch of Trios. This mode helps shake up the tactical composition of each squad, and now the players will have a chance to dominate with their friends. The mode was considered a good practice zone for helping supplement battle royale skills. Many players used it as a chance to test their kits and prepare for the full battle royale challenge.

Although the shakeup in-game modes will be enjoyed by fans, many think that it is ashort term fix to many long term problems.Warzoneis plagued with strategic issues from snipers dominating the field to games being decided by who got the convenient building first. Solo modes continue to either end to quickly or drag on longer than intended leaving many fans seeking a balance between the two.
