Call of Duty: Modern Warfarehas been one of the biggest games of this year. The reboot has built on the 2007 game while saving some of the elements that made the original special. Fans of the original game may remember plenty of Christmas-themed easter eggs and fortunately, the reboot has continued this tradition by creating more content for fans to find.

The first-person shooter has continued the incredible legacy that has been built by the franchise.Modern Warfarehas been successful in terms of sales and the developer of the game, Infinity Ward, has continued to support the title since its release. Yet, the festive additions may very well please fans the most. If players can avoid the incoming gunfire, there will be plenty of festive easter eggs to enjoy.

If players shoot the weather vane at 12 on thenewly reskinned Docks mapthey are in for a festive treat. A sleigh with Captain Price on board flies across the sky with reindeer and Riley fromCoD: Ghostspulling it. After the sleigh disappears there is a glow in the sky. There are also rumors of additional easter eggs on the map that may explain the snowmen that have appeared around the Docks. Infinity Ward seems to have a put a lot of work into festive surprises and will hope that this effort is appreciated by players.

There are certainlyplenty of players onCall of Duty: Modern Warfareand many will surely enjoy the festive touch. Despite more players than ever playing the game, there are some fans who have been vocal about bugs and issues. While some disappointment is purely from unrealistic expectations, there are also legitimate issues that Infinity Ward will want to fix in order to keep pleasing fans.

WhetherInfinity Ward plans to fix the issues inCall of Dutyremains to be seen. Infinity Ward is certainly providing fan service with these easter eggs, and for some, it will be the perfect Christmas gift.
