A newCall of DutyJuly 4th bundle has a weapon blueprint that’s almost exactly like one sold previously inWarzone, making some prospective buyers unhappy about this year’s offering. Each newCall of Dutyinstallment in recent years includes its own unique cosmetics, butCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2andWarzoneseem to be borrowing from former releases.Call of Duty: Warzonehas seen many updates since it was first released 2020, with many skins launching for the original iteration, and a handfulalready dropping for the newWarzonewhich was released last year.RELATED:New Call of Duty Anti-Cheat Update Aims to ‘Disorient’ CheatersCharlie Intel recently posted a clip and image of one of the July 4th weapon blueprints being sold inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2andWarzone. The clip shows a shiny red, white, blue, and gold weapon blueprint, with aCall of Dutysoldier loading a clip into it before unloading some bullets to show the impressive sparkler effect from them. Despite the impressive visuals ofCall of Duty’s July 4thCall of Dutybundle, the weapon blueprint is nearly identical to one that Activision sold inthe originalWarzone, with very minor changes.

Because many fans have already purchased the July 4thCall of Dutyweapon blueprintin an older bundle, someModern Warfare 2andWarzoneplayers have expressed that they have no intention of getting the slightly different version despite the package offering some novel items with it.

Given thatCall of Dutyhas seen recent controversy with removing the NICKMERCS bundle and the upcoming retiring of the originalWarzone, the repeated weapon blueprint for July 4th may add to the grievances of some fans. BecauseActivision regularly updatesCall of Duty: WarzoneandModern Warfare 2and that much of the community is expressing frustration with this package, the developer could possibly drop a patch in the future to make it look different from the already released blueprint, though nothing to that effect has been announced at this time.
