Big Brother 27week 1 Head of Household (HOH) Vince Panaro has nominated three houseguests for eviction.
Big Brother 27week 1 HOHVince nominated Zae Frederich, Amy Bingham, and Ashley Hollis for eviction. The Have-Nots–Rachel Reilly, Will Williamson, Zach Cornell, and Ava Pearl–were safe, which meant that Vince only had eleven houseguests to choose from.
Vince consulted with Jimmy Heagerty before making his nominations. Also, Vince told Kelley Jorgensen that he wanted to work with her and they made a final two deal. Kelley even offered to go up on the block in order to hide their alliance, but he decided not to nominate her.
Vince’s reason for nominating Zae is thathe wanted to break up the budding guys' alliance of Zae, Keanu Soto, Rylie Jeffries, and Zach. He nominated Ashley after Showergate, when she used his HOH shower for two hours, which rubbed many people the wrong way. Many houseguests mentioned her name when Vince asked their opinions about who she should nominate.
However, Vince, Ashley, Jimmy, and Adrian Rocha had made an agreement to keep each other safe after they were the only ones to play in the HOH competition, sonow he’s broken that promise. In addition, in a conversation with Ashley before the nominations, he implied that she was safe.
Vince put Amy on the block after she burst into tears when discussing Ashley’s predicament. She even cried that she wanted to go home if Ashley did. This made him realize thatif Amy was that upset with him for nominating Ashley, then he might as well nominate her too.
Vince told Zae that he nominated him because they didn’t have a chance to talk a lot, and he seemed like a wildcard, but he thought that he’d understand. He said to Amy that he felt terrible, and he didn’t want her to be on the block, but it was best for his game.
Finally,he told Ashley that her nomination had nothing to do with a shower or anything personal, but her words didn’t match her actions, and he was hesitant because he didn’t know why she seemed like the most paranoid person in the house. Vince said in his confessional thathe wanted either Zae or Ashley to go home this week, and Amy was just the pawn. In her confessional, Ashley was livid that Vince broke his word to her.
What HOH Vince Panaro’s Week 1 Nominations Mean For Big Brother 27
Vince Made Some Logical Choices
It’s always difficult to betheBig Brotherweek 1 HOHbecause the houseguests don’t know each other yet, and it’s much harder to justify putting someone on the chopping block when there aren’t many reasons to. However,Vince did a good job of thinking about house targets and future alliances.
By breaking up the bromance, Vince can diminish the threat. Plus, five people voted that they thought that Zae was the Mastermind’s Accomplice (it was really Amy), so there are plenty of people who don’t trust him. By nominating Ashley, he targeted someone that many other people in the house weren’t happy with, so he knew that contestants wouldn’t be upset with him for nominating her.
In addition,Amy’s outburst about Ashley’s possible nomination indicated that she might fight for Ashley’s safety, so now her nomination means that she’ll have to battle for herself instead. The reasons for nominating Ashley and Amy might seem silly, especially Showergate, but they made themselves targets by calling too much attention to themselves.
Our Take On Big Brother 27 Week 1 HOH Vince’s Nominations
Vince Made The Right Decisions
Vince’sBig Brother 27week 1nominees now have two chances to save themselves from the chopping block during the Power of Veto competition and the BB Blockbuster competition, sothe week is far from over. Therefore, Vince made the right decisions with his nominees.
Zae and Ashley are two people who the houseguests already don’t trust, and Amy seems to be a loose cannon. On the other hand, Vince’s broken promise to Ashley might hurt him in the future if she comes off the chopping block.
However, so many people took issue with Ashley during Showergate that she might have a hard time forming an alliance even if she does save herself with the Power of Veto or in the BB Blockbuster competition. Vince was smart to put the house’s target on the chopping block becausethe odds are stacked against her even if she makes it through the week, and she’ll most likely have to win HOH next week to survive in the game.
It’s also going to be interesting to see if Amy being the Mastermind’s Accomplice comes into play again during the week. In addition, if somehow Zach ends up on the chopping block on eviction night, he can use the $10,000 that he won on premiere night when he saved Julie to pay HOH Vince to remove him, and Vince will be forced to name a new nominee. Whatever happens next,Big Brother 27has been full of many jaw-dropping surprises.
