Battlefield 6 Will Feature Bots In Multiplayer

A Tricky Feature To Balance

Although we don’t have any details about the implementation of the bots, such as whether they will only be in more casual matches or if they can be used in private matches, their existence in multiplayer games is typically polarizing. Some fans enjoy having bots to have a full team, even if the game’s player count drops over time, while others feel that having bots on their team makes it harder to win matches because of their unpredictable actions.

Battlefield 6will havea lot of multiplayer modes, with player counts varying from 64-player modes to smaller team-based modes like the classic Team Deathmatch. It remains to be seen if bots will be in every modeor if they will be in theBattlefield 6open betathis week.

Reactions To Battlefield 6’s Multiplayer Bots Are Mixed

Waiting For Longer To Play Or Fighting AI Instead?

In a Reddit thread byKakanmeister, fans are debating the use of bots for the game’s multiplayer modes, andreactions are all over the place. Some fans argue that they’d rather just play smaller matches that play against bots, likeBlondyTheGood, who wrote:“I’d rather play in a half-full server than one with 32 players and 32 bots.”

Other fans see bots as a good way to prevent long queue times for matches. There’s also some concern about the amount of time that will pass in a match before the bots get added, withTimbalabimwriting:“If the bots get replaced in a reasonable amount of time, I don’t mind. The alternative of sitting in a lobby waiting for players to join has been a problem in past games.”

Luckily, with the beta this week, fans will likely be able to test how smart the AI bots are and if they could be a potential issue at launch. Either way, though, it seems like fans can’t agree on whetherBattlefield 6having multiplayer bots is a good or bad thing yet.
