At the very beginning ofBaldur’s Gate 3, on the ship, players will meet a character named Lae’zel. After it crashes, she can be found again near the area where the ship made a rough landing. Unfortunately for her, she ends up being captured bya pair of Tieflings.
When players find her, they will be faced with a difficult choice of whether to kill her and take her loot, or free her so that they can recruit her into the party and continue her storyline inBG3. Here is what players need to keep in mind to make the best possible decision.
Lae’zel’s Dilemma Choice in BG3
After players head north from the starting point to the area where the Nautiloid crashes, they will come across two Tieflings discussing what to do with Lae’zel. Not far from them, gamers will find Lae’zel herself, who will be captured in a cage, giving players the following choices:
As with most decisions inBaldur’s Gate 3, choosing one of the options will affect thefurther story in the gamein one way or another. In the case of Lae’zel, things are not so clear, as each of the possible choices has its benefits and drawbacks.
Be careful which class-based responses are used, as certain classes will come off more aggressive than others. This can lead to being forced to end the matter with bloodshed one way or another.
Kill Lae’Zel in Baldur’s Gate 3
If fans choose to kill Lae’Zel,the Tieflingswill release her from the cage, after which the fight will begin. At this point, gamers will have a second chance to save this Githyanki fighter. However, if they choose to side with the Tieflings, players will kill Lae’Zel with a few hits. This way, players will be able to loot Lae’Zel, thus getting some pretty valuable equipment that can be sold for some easy Gold. Nevertheless, they willnot be able to romance her, just as they will not be able to continue the Lae’Zel questline inBaldur’s Gate 3.
Save Lae’Zel in Baldur’s Gate 3
If players decide to save Lae’Zel by defending her from the Tieflings, she will join their party. In addition, they will get a chance to romance Lae’Zel, as well as start her own Companion quest. Also, she is a pretty good fighter, her stats are listed below:
