Warning! This article contains spoilers for Weak Hero Class 2.
Su-ho and Baku are easily two of the strongest fighters inWeak Hero, raising many questions about who among them would win in a hypothetical fight. InWeak Hero Class 1, Su-ho was introduced as a laid-back character who always slept in class and avoided getting involved in any drama at school. However, he eventually showed what he was capable of by stopping Si-eun from taking things too far with one of his bullies. Before he knew it, Su-ho also got involved in Si-eun’s battle against some local criminals.
Although Su-ho’s narrative later took a tragic turn when he lost an unfair fight against another student, he easily remained one of the most overpoweredcharacters inWeak Hero. To make up for his absence,Weak Hero Class 2introduced Hu-min (nicknamed Baku), who, like Su-ho, became Si-eun’s closest friend and ally. Given howWeak Hero Class 2’s endingmarks the return of Su-ho as well and teases a potential team-up between Baku and Su-ho in a future installment, it is hard not to wonder who among the two characters is stronger.
Despite Su-ho’s Class 2 Return, Baku Remains The Best Fighter In Weak Hero
Su-ho Needs To Recover Before He Can Fight Again
AfterWeak Hero Class 1’s ending, Su-ho remained in a coma almost throughout Class 2’s runtime. This suggests that he was bedridden for several months before he regained consciousness inWeak Hero Class 2’s finale. When Si-eun finally meets him in the second season’s ending, he finds him in a wheelchair right outside the hospital, highlighting howSu-ho’s muscles have significantly weakened, and how he will have a long road to recovery ahead before he can return to his former physical condition.
Given how fighting almost got him killed inWeak Hero Class 1, Su-ho might want to stay away from any kind of physical altercations in the show’s future potential narratives. Owing to this, it would be fair to say that afterWeak Hero Class 2’s events,Hu-min (Baku) remains the strongest fighter in the series. Baku might have lost against Su-ho if he had faced him in his peak condition. However, in the show’s present timeline, Baku stands uncontested as the topWeak Herofighter, especially after Baek-jin’s death in Weak Hero season 2’s post-credits scene.
Su-ho’s MMA Background Proves He Was Once Levels Above Baku At His Peak
Su-ho Was Not Even At His Peak In Class 1
Su-ho was one of the most feared fighters inWeak Hero Class 1, and he even managed to overpower boys far older than him with ease. His backstory in the series reveals that he was once an accomplished MMA fighter, but eventually decided to quit the sport. This explains why most boys from his school struggle to even stand a chance at hurting him in a one-on-one showdown. The villains inWeak Hero Class 1hope to take him down by hiring an active MMA fighter to beat him.
Baku single-handedly beats all the Union members in a Weak Hero Class 2 flashback, but it seems unlikely he would have had a chance against Su-ho during his peak years.
When the fight between Su-ho and the active MMA fighter finally takes place,Su-ho surprises the fighter by proving that, despite being inactive, he still has what it takes to beat him. The MMA fighter cheats and knocks him out, but Su-ho proves that his skills have not gathered rust, even though he is not a professional fighter. This makes it hard not to wonder how incredibly overpowered he must have been during his active MMA days. Weak Hero Class 3 Can Settle The Baku Vs. Su-ho Debate
Class 2’s Ending Has Set Up Another Season
Weak Hero Class 2’s ending aligns with the original manhwa’s, suggesting that the series has exhausted its source material’s content. Surprisingly, despite this, the second season’s post-credits scene sets the stage for another season. Given how Su-ho returns inWeak Hero Class 2’s final moments, he will likely end up joining Eunjang High in a potential season 3. While this would mean that Baku and Su-ho would be fighting in the same team, the show could settle the debate about who is truly the strongest with a friendly fight.
