[Every week (until I get bored), Art Juice takes a recent videogame story and provides an unremittingly artistic slant, telling us a little something about ourselves in the process … whether we want to know the truth or not!]
This week’s Art Juice is a devastatingly satirical take onEA’s decisionto turn theTheme Parkfranchise into the very thing it once parodied — a money-grubbing scam intended to con money out of idiots. As you can tell from my wickedly detailed painting, the former mascot of theTheme Parkseries is dishing out some rough justice to one of his consumers. It’s all very political.
The action is punctuated by a most fitting quote from the originalTheme Parkitself — complete with grammatical errors — that shines a cruel reflection upon Electronic Arts in a canny maneuver so meta that it transcends reality and envelops our atmosphere with pure revelation.
Upon viewing this image, you will be struck dumb by the shockingly astute observations and you will decide to hire me to paint your ceilings.
