Animal Crossing: New Horizonsis packed different with content, giving players hundreds of villagers to house on their islands. As such, several different aesthetics can be created, though it seems like there are some specific NPCs thatAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsfans love the most.

This new poll comes courtesy of Famitsu, and it reveals some interesting data through its handful of questions. First, a majority ofAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsplayers started playing the game on launch day, with most having played a previous game in the series beforehand. Over 50% of gamers spend 1-3 hours on their islands daily, and when it comes to furniture, Ironwood gets a slight edge over the other types.Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ Halloween eventis the most popular of the bunch, too.

However, the most interesting question was undoubtedly the one that saw fans polled on their favorite villagers. Famitsu only included the top 10 in its poll, though many of the fan favorites find themselves positioned at the top of the list. Intriguingly, the jock villager Domfinds himself in top top spot, with the sheep’s red horns and cheerful exterior earning in 652 votes. In second place, the grumpy-looking squirrel Marshal brings in 480 votes, with the highly sought-after cat Raymond earns an impressive 440 votes.

The positions of Dom and Raymond make sense, as both are entirely new toAnimal Crossing: New Horizons. As a result, they lack Amiibo cards, with the rareness instantly making them more appealing. The list continues with the wolf Fang in fourth and the pink cub Judy in fifth. The adorable stuffed animal Stitches finds himself in sixth place, and with many hoping his unique design would have been used forthe Build-A-Bear crossover, this makes sense. In seventh place, the white hamster Flurry makes her presence known. Lolly’s unique comma eyes see the cat taking eighth place, while the horned deer Beau takes ninth. The purple wolf Lobo rounds out the list.

Seeing this lineup of opinions is certainly intriguing. While villager cuteness is subjective, there is clearly some widespread interest in these 10 characters. At the same time, there are some noticeable omissions from the list, with a few of theAnimal Crossing: New Horizons’ most beloved villagersmissing. The memeable Bob the cat is nowhere to be seen, with the equally funny Roald also missing. Audie, the popular villager based on a famousAnimal Crossing-playing grandma, is also missing. Perhaps most shockingly of all, the lazy blue goat Sherb is not in the top 10.

Regardless, this poll does give fans an idea of what their fellow players are looking for in their neighbors. While some gamers are hoping thatnew villagers could come toAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsin the future, there is clearly still plenty of love to go around for the current lineup.
