Based on George Orwell’s novella of the same name, the upcoming animated movie follows a group of farm animals who rebel against humans, setting out to be their own masters. Thebook is often read in high school, as it serves as an allegory for the Russian Revolution and provides timeless political commentary.

Seth Rogen (The Interview), Gaten Matarazzo (Stranger Things), Steve Buscemi (The Sopranos), Glenn Close (101 Dalmatians), Laverne Cox (Orange is the New Black), Kieran Culkin (A Real Pain), Woody Harrelson (Venom: Let There Be Carnage), Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory), Kathleen Turner (The Estate) and Iman Vellani (Ms. Marvel) have lent their voices to the project. Along with directing, Serkis will also be voicing at least one character.
