This is also the highest rating a project in the franchise has received since 1986, whenAlienscame out.

What Alien: Earth’s Rotten Tomatoes Score Says About The TV Series

The show’s current score makes it the third-highest ranked in the franchise, withAliensporting a 93% andAlienscoming in with a 94%.Alien: Earthalso places aboveAlien: Romulus, the newest movie in the series, which holds an 80% from critics. While the FX TV show’s score could still fluctuate, this is a very strong start.

Based on reviews for the series, it seemsthe show will be unsettling and terrifying, not just because of the Xenomorphs, but also due to thenew speciesAlien: Earthis bringing to the table. This indicates many horrors yet to unfold aren’t even caused by the most recognizable creature in the franchise, only adding to the unknown dangers.

Because of howAlien: Earthfalls intotheAlientimeline, it seems like there will still be plenty of familiar elements, such asandroids, Facehuggers, and the ulterior motives of Weyland-Yutani. However, the current ones signal just how well-crafted the horror is going to be, with the show focusing on terrifying aspects of its new creatures and the dangers they pose to its large cast.
