Regarded as something of a survival horror gem on the previous console generation, theAlan Wake Remasteris one that many fans are very excited about. With recentscreenshots from the Remedy Entertainment classic already showing improvements, October 5 cannot come soon enough for those who fondly remember the original. However, there is one thing that the original game had that the remaster will be removing, as confirmed by a spokesperson for the developer.

WhenAlan Wakewas first released back in 2010, it featured branding from real life products, some of which played an important role in some of the gameplay. Company’s like Verizon and Energizer batteries had their logos shown on billboards throughout Bright Falls where the game takes place. However, a PR rep for Remedy recently confirmed to Screen Rant that the remaster won’t be showing these brands, and, instead, will be swapped out for more generic, fictional brands.
