Generally speaking, the most valuable cards for anyDisney Lorcanaset are the incredibly rare Enchanted versions, which feature full card alternate artwork and are each beautiful representations of these iconic Disney characters and scenes. The latest set to come to the game,Reign of Jafar, was just released and is already causing a stir in online markets, particularly for many of these stunning Enchanted cards. As a tabletop card game (TCG) focused on characters from the Disney universe, these cards can be highly sought after by those who play the game, as well as collectors of Disney.
Of course, the most valuable cards for anyDisney Lorcanaset do not necessarily only mean Enchanted cards, with the occasional Legendary or other popular card sometimes making their way onto these lists. Starting with the next set,Fabled, therewill also be two new rarity types, including only two Iconic cards in each set that are even more rare than Enchanted.
As this article is being written,Disney Lorcana: Reign of Jafarhas only just been released to local hobby stores and other select retailers and has not yet become available at mass-market retailers. Therefore,over the coming weeks, the market values for cards in this set are likely to see considerable fluctuationas more people are opening packs and seeing what they get.

The Action card, “Desperate Plan” is a useful one if played as it helps considerably with deck management and card draw. That said, it is likely that anyone who finds this Enchanted version of the card will want to protect it rather than risk getting it damaged in a game. Thevibrant card features illustrations of Raya and Namaari both reaching for the powerful Hexwell Crown, one of the latest sources of Jafar’s power inReign of Jafar.
“Desperate Plan”, card number 222/204, is currently showing onTCGPlayerat a price of $181.15, although there have not been enough sales at the time of writing for the site to have an average market price.
9Fantastical And Magical (Action/Song)
Card Number 212/204, Enchanted
“Fantastical and Magical” is a Song card that needs characters with a total cost of 9 to be used to sing, but then the player can gain a lore and draw a card for each character used. This can make it a very useful card, but theEnchanted version of it is so fantastically illustrated that one may not even notice the writing. The artwork shows Mirabel holding the miracle candle as the magic in the air shows images of her family and glowing butterflies.
Similar to the “Desperate Plan” card above, so far there have not been quite enough sales to determine the average market price onTCGPlayerfor “Fantastical and Magical” card 212/204.Currently, it is showing a price of $185.88on the site, and most sales seem to be holding right around that value.
8It Means No Worries (Action/Song)
Card Number 208/204, Enchanted
The artwork for this Song, “It Means No Worries”, is so cheerful and vibrant that one could easily miss the possibly sinister hands holding the image, which, presumably, is shown in a crystal ball. Thankfully,Simba and his friends are able to truly enjoy having no worries as they play in the waterand live by the rule of Hakuna Matata. This entire illustration feels so perfectly designed, with so much to look at in such a small piece of art.
Song card 208/204 for “It Means No Worries” is listed onTCGPlayerfor a price of $205.68 at the time of writing. No average market price has yet been determined at this time.
7Mushu - Your Worst Nightmare
Card 218/204, Enchanted
Ferocious dragon, Mushu, from theMulanuniverse, is joined in this image by Cri-Kee as theygleefully take to the skies with a rocket strapped to Mushu’s back. Though Mushu may be small in stature, that doesn’t mean his card lacks abilities, as he can be good support for other character cards as long as he is in play. In the background of this card, players can see the serpent statue of Jafar’s shooting lasers towards its foes, while the magical sands swirl through the air.
This Ruby and Steel dual-ink card currently has a price shown onTCGPlayerof $209.99. An average market price is still being determined at the time of writing.
6Lilo - Causing An Uproar
Card 217/204, Enchanted
Lilo’s adorable childlike antics in theillustration on this Enchanted cardcould hold deeper meaning, considering its context. Dressed in costume and about to destroy a sandcastle, Lilo looks like a cheerful child playing on the beach, but looking closer, one can see thatthe castle is a representation of Jafar’s desert fortress, which the players are working to overthrow duringReign of Jafar.
OnTCGPlayerthis card has adisplayed price of $217.19 at the time of writing, though, once again, not enough sales have taken place just yet to determine the average market price. As noted above, prices are expected to be a bit volatile for the first couple weeks following launch.
5Jasmine - Steady Strategist
Card Number 221/204, Enchanted
Princess Jasmine is a vision in this magically illustrated Enchanted card, holding a spectral Rajah close to her as she plans her attack on Jafar. With a treacherous road and swirls of golden scarabs around her, “Jasmine - Steady Strategist” clearly has a winning strategy in mind. The colors and details are truly what make this card magnificent, with theartwork representing the Floodborn Princess as a truly heroic character, and likely the glimmer with the most animosity against Jafar.
At the time of writing, card 221/204 of “Jasmine - Steady Strategist” has an average market price onTCGPlayerof $292.66.
4Lady - Decisive Dog
Card Number 205/204, Enchanted
The lovely canine Lady, ofLady and the Trampfame, is a vision on this EnchantedDisney Lorcanacard.Surrounded by ribbons of colors that are reminiscent of a sunset, while she looks on at her friends and a baby pram behind her, “Lady - Decisive Dog” is a joy to behold. In play, the 1-cost card would require some strategy to make it truly becomeone of the sets best cards, but could be a valuable low-cost card.
Though it is low in ink cost to play, that doesn’t make it low in monetary value. At the time of writing,TCGPlayershows card 205/204 featuring Lady with a market price of $293.56.
3Rapunzel - High Climber
Card Number 214/204, Enchanted
While I imagine it is not healthy for one’s hair to hold the weight of a person, Rapunzel is clearly unique in her hair’s magical capabilities. In “Rapunzel - High Climber"she is seen using her luscious locks as a rope while she scales the tower walls, with golden lanterns flying alongside her. This Dreamborn Princess Hero is dressed in even more regal clothing, keeping her feminine grace while making her a bit more fit for adventuring.
OnTCGPlayer, this Enchanted card 214/204 of Rapunzelhas a market price of $296.97. However, its price has been dropping even while this article has been being written, highlighting again the current fluidity of the market.
2Stitch - Experiment 626
Card Number 220/204, Enchanted
Disney Lorcanahas made no secret of its love for the blue alien “dog”, Stitch. He has regularly appeared in several of the sets with Enchanted varieties and even his own gift set, similar to theone that Elsa will be receiving soon. Now, forReign of Jafar, he is back withanother charming and chaotic Enchanted card for “Stitch - Experiment 626.“Here he is clearly a bit on the naughty side, while trying to escape from his glass pod that has him trapped.
At the time of writing, card 220/204, featuring Stitch, does not have an average market price yet.TCGPlayerdoes show the card at a current price of $310.00, with prices being on a bit of a rollercoaster of rising and falling.
1Into The Unknown, Action/Song
Card Number 213/204, Enchanted
Theclear winner for most expensive card from theReign of Jafarset is the Song “Into The Unknown"featuring Elsa in a purple gown singing out to a magical sky. Days before the early release of the set, this card was listed in multiple places at prices nearing the $12,000 mark. Since then, things have dropped to a somewhat more reasonable price, though still much higher than many other Enchanted cards.
At the time of writing,TCGPlayerdoes not have an average market price yet, possibly due to how much this card has been fluctuating. It is currently showing a price of $506.21, though the song title is apt in that thisDisney Lorcanacard’s final value is currently unknown.
